I thought Marsha at the restaurant was very pleasant
and extremely professional. The real strength of the
experience was the pleasant nature of the employees.
Monica and Tanya were terrific nannies, Harry was a great
lifeguard and the restaurant servers were very attentive.
Evelyn our nanny was always extremely
helpful and our son had great fun with her.
Evelyn was the highlight of our trip. we’d
also like to thank the chefs for being so
accommodating of our son’s food allergies.
While I ended up cooking a lot of his food
myself, they were happy to cook his special
food when asked and went out of their way to
get me the ingredients I requested
We fell in love with the staff
and fee like family at FDR

This was my second visit to FDR and I loved it!
The staff is so personable and they really want
to take care of you. The food was even better this
time around. The chocolate cake and coconut macaroons
are out of this world! It’s definitely a great family
place, it feels very safe. I love the dinners on the
beach…just beautiful! The evening entertainment and
games around the pool are so much fun. It’s a smaller
resort, so it feels like you are just hanging out with
a bunch of friends the whole time. The Nanny’s are so great.
I was a little skeptical to leave my kids with strangers,
but after seeing how attentive the Nanny’s are, I wouldnt
think twice about leaving my kids with them. Can’t wait
to get back to FDR!!!

Our first trip to FDR, but certainly not our last!
Our daughter has a severe peanut and tree nut allergy
and this was our first experience traveling since the
diagnosis. Everyone on the staff was aware of her needs
from day one; the chefs even prepared some of the boxes
of mac n cheese and ravioli we brought with us. Our nanny,
Charlene, was amazing — not only did she take great care
of our 3 year old (and the craft activities are better than
the ones she has at daycare at home). she made sure we had
everything we needed and if we had any questions or issues,
she instantly took care of it. From our wonderful welcome
from Kimberly, to Marsha, Donnalee, Kerrian, Ryan and Andre
in the restaurants, to Shevoy and Shane behind the bar, to
Harry (thanks for the boat rides and great stories!) and Kyle
our lifeguard and Ken Alexander, the world’s best tennis
instructor (thanks, mon!) and Tomika, the energetic games
coordinator, you will be taken care of like you are visiting
old friends from the moment you walk into the resort.
Hope to see you all soon!
