I would like to thank fdr pebbles for a
wonderful vacation, my children have never been
so excited to share with their friends what a
grand time they had, Our nanny Ms. Latoya was
beyond my best dreams, my children loved her,
and so did i. the food was just to good. spring
break 2006 is one we will always remember. Thank
you Pebbles staff, you are first class.

I'm not sure where to start. I guess
SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE. We don't have a single
negative thing to say about Pebbles. The coordinators;
Ron, Winston, Greg and Blain made this vacation. They
bend over backwards to make it a great experience.
As I said the service is unbeatable. The food is very
good, especially at Sabbia, the italian/seafood adult
restaurant. Great selection at buffet and the pool grill
is tasty. Make sure you visit Natalie @ one of the 3
bars. Drinks are very tasty and they don't skimp on the
Alcohol. Activities abound for both young and old. My 13
& 15 yr olds hated to leave. Extremely Friendly place,
like Cheers, everybody knows your name.

We stayed at Pebbles from 3/26/06 to
3/31/06 and wanted to share with you what a great resort
this place is. I went there with my husband, our 17
month old daughter, and our friends who have a 17 month
old son and a 3 1/2 old daughter. FDR is probably one of
the best resorts for kids in the Carribean. Here's the
low down.
PROS
This place had absolutely the best service I have ever
seen. The staff is extremely accomdating, hardworking
and friendly. They made traveling with kids much easier.
In the dining room if your kid dropped (threw) their
sippy cup there would be someone there who rushes in to
pick it up and wash it before you even realized it hit
the ground!
The vacation nannies are key. For the older kids they
provided entertainment and helped introduce all the kids
to one another. For us with young ones, they sat in the
room during nap time while we enjoyed some activities.
And were very good with playing with the young ones as
well.
The resort is very small and you really felt safe! We
would leave our stuff out either at the pool or the
beach and no one would bother it. There was always staff
around and the management is super strict about customer
service.
The food was very good, but the buffet is not huge. The
drinks were yummy but somewhat small but it was all
inclusive so who cares.
They had tons of activities and the pool and beach were
nice. We even did a little scuba diving.
The rooms were basic but clean. The grounds were lush
with lots of beautiful plants.
CONS
The rooms were dimly lit. They could use some more
lighting.
The mosquitos were very hungry. Even though they sprayed
the resort every night. I got quite a few bites on my
legs and my daughter got a few on her face. But I
imagine much of the carribean has that problem.
The airport shuttle service they provide is kinda slow.
When we arrived we waited about 45 minutes for other
people going to other resorts, which was difficult after
a long flight with kids.
The pool was nice but they did not have a separate baby
pool, just a shallow end. The water seemed kinda cold
for our daughter.
All in all we had a pleasant stay and would recommend it
to families. I think elementary school aged kids would
get the most out of it. We'd like to go back when our
daughter gets a bit older.

We just got back yesterday from a 5 day
stay at Pebbles. We researched it thoroughly and read
all the reviews prior to leaving, so we were not met
with any unpleasant surprises. I'm not going to go into
great detail here, you can read all the prior reviews to
get all the info, but I'll just add a few comments. All
in all the resort was pleasant and the staff extremely
helpful and willing to please the guests. Our nanny
Katherine was superb and the kids loved her. The food
was good, a few great things, lots of average, and a few
terrible offerings (such as braised kidneys!). Our
oceanfront room was wonderful, maybe the ocean was a
little too loud! We had connecting oceanfront suites and
would highly recommend paying extra to get two rooms.
Our two kids had their own room and bathroom and we had
our privacy. We met many nice families and enjoyed
visiting with lots of new people. The only negative is
that we kind of got a little bored toward the end of our
stay, the activities got repetitive and were really not
very exciting. Nightlife is non-existent, but we are
early risers anyway. If you are used to 5-star resorts
American style, then this is not for you. But if you
want a great family resort where everybody knows your
name, then this is for you

Just loved it ! great family vacations,
everything was great.
It is the perfect family resort, we have 2 kids, 13 and
15 and they loved it, the staff was great and made our
vacation an exciting experience.
Not like these big resorts where you are a number, at
the Peebles you are part of the family.
The kids loved the game room, pool and the other
activities, they want to go back !
On the beach, look for Ron and Skinny, they are great
guys ! we had so much fun with these guys, they do a lot
more than watersports, they make sure you enjoy your
stay with a lot of humour.
Might be a small resort, but if you are looking for a
good time, that is the place

Swaby. She was just absolutely wonderful with our family & children on our
vacation that we just took to FDR Pebbles!
I have
just been raving about her to everyone here in my office at work & have
forwarded them the website link so they know about Pebbles for their
potential upcoming vacations.
I
wanted you to know how wonderful an employee you have in Lattoya. I have a
3 yr old & a 6 mo. old son & she took such excellent care of them while we
were visiting Jamaica, and it just allowed me & my husband to get some much
needed relaxation time!

have been to Pebbles 4 times and in a few weeks I am visiting again. After
our first stay we have always requested Ramona because she is really nice to
me and my little sister Jenna. She always tries her hardest to make me and
Jenna happy. I love her as if she was my family, and I always think of her
once I go back home.

My family and I have just returned home from a wonderful and
relaxing holiday at Pebbles, Jamaica. I wanted to write to let you know how
much we appreciate your caring staff. Sonia, our Vacation Nanny, was superb.
She cared for my children as a family member would. Sonia was knowledgeable on
the developmental levels of my children and planned activities accordingly. My
1 year old absolutely loved Sonia. She was friendly and professional at all
times. She helped us have an enjoyable stay because we were sure our son was
receiving the utmost care and attention. I would definitely not leave my
precious children with anyone I did not feel comfortable with. I could tell
right away that Sonia would be a splendid addition to our stay. My family and
I became quite close with her and will definitely stay at Pebbles again
sometime soon, if Sonia can once again be our Nanny.
I simply felt compelled to write this letter so you can be
made aware of the fabulous things Sonia, and other
employees, have been doing.

We stayed at Pebbles in February. It was the best
vacation yet. The buffet for every meal was welcome.
with two children, it makes meal time very easy. The
Italian restaurant for adults was great. We ate there
twice. The snack bar was a huge hit with our family.
Nothing like swimming up to lunch. We loved it.
The resort is quaint and clean. My massage on the ocean
....soooooo relaxing. There was so much to do and see
for both us and the children. I can't believe all of the
children's activities. What made this vacation so
wonderful was the nanny. We absolutely loved our nanny,
Shanoy. The staff is top notch!! They are so friendly
and helpful. My husband and I were able to enjoy the
nightlife, yet we didn't have the worries of being so
far away from our girls.
We were so relaxed we didn't call or contact anyone at
home until we arrived back in the U.S.. We are already
planning our vacation next year with a wonderful couple
we met there and are looking to stay for 2 weeks because
one was just not enough!!! My two girls are extremely
excited to come back and see our nanny. Thank you for a
wonderful vacation.
